How does a phone consultation work?

Dr. Kalish works with patients over the phone because the health programs he designs are based on the results of lab tests that can easily be done in your home (with the exception of a test that requires a blood draw. Most tests Dr. Kalish uses require stool, saliva, urine or hair samples.) Dr. Kalish bases his health programs on lab tests that assess the function of the three body systems: hormonal, digestive and detoxification.

During your initial phone consultation Dr. Kalish will review your personal and family health history and make recommendations for lab tests that are appropriate for your specific health issues.

Once your lab work has been completed, Dr. Kalish will explain the meaning of your test results to you in a follow up consultation. He will also create an individualized health program for you which will include one or more of the following: diet changes, nutritional supplements, and exercise, lifestyle and stress management recommendations. Subsequent consultations are scheduled to monitor your progress and to modify your program.

How long is the initial consultation?

Your first consultation will take 45 - 60 minutes.

What is the fee for a consultation?

The fee for your initial consultation is $295 for one hour. Length of follow-up consultations depends on how many lab tests you have done and the complexity of your issues.

Fee Schedule:

New Patient consultation: $295 (45 minutes - 1 hour)
1 hour: $300
45 minutes: $225
30 minutes: $150
15 minutes: $75

• Payment is due at time of consultation
• Methods of payment are: Personal check (sent in advance) Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
• All consultations are time recorded from the time the appointment begins; you will only be billed for the actual time used.

What do I need to do to get started?

1. Call our office at 800-616-7708 (or 707-939-7960 ) to schedule a consultation, or use our online scheduler.
2. Print and complete the New Patient Paperwork.
3. Prior to your consultation fax the New Patient Paperwork to 707-939-7488 or mail it to:
